Wolverhampton ranked cheapest place to buy a curry in UK

A Black Country borough has been ranked the cheapest place to buy a curry anywhere in the country.

Wolverhampton beat the national average price by £4, with customers able to buy chicken tikka and pilau rice for £6.67.

In comparison, the most expensive place to buy a curry was in Cambridge, with a price of £13.42.

Wolverhampton was also ranked third cheapest for buying a 12in pepperoni pizza, with a price of £6.83, coming in behind Leeds and Preston.

The most expensive place to buy the same pizza was Swansea, with a price of £13.09.

Birmingham was ranked the most expensive place to buy chicken chow mein, with a price of £7.75.
