The VW, made in 1975, was originally used for events but has been re-purposed to help the business amid Covid-19.

The 44-year-old business owner said: “The food van is mine – I used to do weddings and corporate events, but they’ve been cancelled so we’ve turned it into ‘The Breakfast Bus’ at the weekends.

“We ask everyone to keep their distance from each other. We don’t do deliveries but we do takeaways.”

The business owner said it had been tough – due to Covid-19 restrictions and the current lockdown – and has led them to think of different ideas to keep the business going.

She said: “We’re a new business, we’ve only been open over a year, and the community have really supported us.

“But we need to keep thinking of different ideas.”
