Legionella and Fire Safe Services has had the first delivery of a dozen vehicles.

Each vehicle has been carefully wrapped in Legionella and Fire Safe Services new branding, which incorporates the two main divisions of the company – water and fire compliance.

Steve Morris, managing director of Legionella and Fire Safe Services, said: “I am delighted that our new fleet has started to arrive, as it sees a significant investment in our services and for the safety of our staff. It will be great to see them on the road, carrying out vital services throughout the UK.”

The new vans have cameras fitted for increased safety and driver confidence and will be tracked providing increased efficiency, reduced miles per job and safety for single crew vans. They are also more environmentally friendly than their predecessors with a drastic reduction in carbon emissions.

It marks a significant step forward for the company which has doubled its workforce this year.

One of Legionella and Fire Safe’s key clients is Wates Property Services, where the relationship is in its fourth year.

Richard Nock, quality surveyor for Wates said: “It’s great to see one of our working partners’ success. After being awarded the Birmingham City Council Framework, we were looking for an affordable specialist to undertake water treatment works on our behalf. Legionella and Fire Safe Services were appointed and have more than delivered and continue to do so more than four years down the line. Undertaking works including Legionella risk assessments, annual tank cleans, hot water system replacements, and more recently category five break tanks installations, we have always worked collaboratively from both an operational and commercial perspective.

"Pro-active is a term we would use to describe Legionella and Fire Safe. We are in constant dialogue, and they listen to our business needs. As a result of this, they have branched out from solely Legionella works and are now undertaking accredited fire-stopping works and specialist Covid-19 cleans following the recent pandemic.

"Together we have achieved some great outcomes, resulting in annual budget increases from our client which speaks volumes in itself. We look forward to more of the same over the coming years. Congratulations to all the team at Legionella and Fire Safe”.

Legionella and Fire Safe Services has a highly-skilled team of corporately-trained technicians and consultants, led by a senior management team with nearly 30 years of water and fire industry experience.
