The contract will generate £2.5 million in additional annual sales for Blakemore Foodservice, which is part of the Willenhall-based A F Blakemore & Son group.

It will supply Soho Coffee Company from its sites in Wednesbury and Wakefield.

The independent food-led coffee chain has 34 coffee shops across the UK and Ireland and a further seven international sites.

The brand’s portfolio includes both company-owned and franchise stores. All company-owned stores in the UK are serviced via a central production kitchen in Cheltenham, which Blakemore Foodservice will be delivering to six days a week.

Blakemore Foodservice sales director Nick Rose said: "We are delighted to be supplying and working with Soho Coffee Co. Both of our companies have the same overarching values guiding how we work and we see this as a perfect partnership.

"We are looking to grow into new sectors of the foodservice market, and coffee shops is one of those areas. "
