About 45 jobs will be created when B&M opens in the Mander Centre next month.

B&M is set to move into the top floor of the old BHS store while Wilko will occupy the bottom floor.

The new B&M is set to open on October 16.

A spokesman for the bargain shop said: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of more jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.

“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door in a few weeks.”

Job roles are advertised on the B&M careers website and range from sales assistant, to floor managers and cleaners.

Matalan opened in the Mander Centre back in May, which replaced New Look's old outlet on the upper mall near HMV and The Entertainer.
