The Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership has teamed up with Dudley North Labour MP Ian Austin to stage a Black Country exhibition to showcase a wide range of goods manufactured by nearly 30 companies from across the area.

The LEP is also demonstrating HVM City: The Opportunity Gateway, a new online portal which allows high value manufacturing companies to register tender opportunities as well as businesses and individuals to access tender opportunities.

The HVM City platform will support the Black Country supply chain to continue to make the most of opportunities to supply products to leading brands such as luxury car maker Aston Martin.

Exhibiting companies Alucast in Wednesbury and Rimstock in West Bromwich are first tier suppliers to Aston Martin.

Of the 455,400 people working in the Black Country,103,725 are in high value manufacturing jobs across 7,565 high value manufacturing businesses.
