A reckless motorist who killed a two-year-old boy in a horror hit-and-run crash in Smethwick while driving a stolen Porsche has been jailed for more than 15 years.
Sharjeel Shahzad ploughed head-on into a Toyota Auris killing Shehbaz Singh and seriously injuring four adults, including both the toddler's parents.
Police have released a video which includes footage of the fatal crash.
Thirty-year-old Shahzad, who had never passed a driving test, was driving a Porsche Cayenne on false plates when it crashed in Smethwick, on December 14 last year.
He then fled the scene on Dartmouth Road despite a witness remonstrating with him, leaving the child dead and his father Amritpal and mother Khushpreet with catastrophic injuries.
Khushpreet has not recovered sufficiently from her injuries to be told of the death of her son, a court was told.

Shahzad, of Great Barr, was arrested two days later after being tracked down by West Midlands Police.
He earlier pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Shahzad was jailed for 15 years and four months at Wolverhampton Crown Court today (Friday, July 4).
He was further sentenced to seven years and seven months on other driving charges, to run concurrently and banned from driving for 18 years and three months.

Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes, from the force's serious collision investigation unit, said: "Young Shehbaz tragically lost his life and others were seriously injured due to the selfishness and dangerous driving of Shahzad.
"He made no attempt to help anyone and ran off, rather than face up to what he'd done, but we managed to quickly identify and arrest him.
"This collision has devastated a family who we've continued to support during these hugely traumatic months.
"We know the local community were also distraught at what happened and have shown tremendous support for the family, as we did everything we could to ensure the man responsible was brought to justice."
