Aldi is hiring more than 100 staff in Wolverhampton and Staffordshire - full details here

Job hunters are being urged to apply for roles with discount supermarket chain, Aldi which has launched a recruitment drive for 100 more workers.

Bosses say they are currently looking to take on staff in Wolverhampton, Burntwood and Tamworth.

This includes both full-time and part-time positions such as store managers, store assistants and store management apprentices.

Aldi offers industry-leading pay with store assistants earning a starting hourly rate of £12.75 nationally, increasing to £13.66, based on the length of service. In London, the starting rate is £14.05 per hour, rising to £14.35.

The chain offers paid breaks - worth more than £1,370 a year to the average store colleague.

The company said the recruitment drive supports its ongoing store growth with a new branch opening at Oldbury Green Retail Park, in Oldbury, earlier this month.
