Police investigating after woman found unconscious on road in Walsall
Police are investigating after a woman was found unconscious on a Walsall road.
Police were called to Stafford Street, Walsall at around 5am this morning (Sun).
They found the 37-year-old woman unconscious and she was taken to hospital for her injuries to be assessed.
The road was closed off for most of Sunday morning with diversions on National Express West Midlands service 29 but it is now re-open.
A police spokesman said: "Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to get in touch by calling 101 quoting crime reference 20/282805/25."
