Man seriously injured after being hit by car in Wednesbury
A man was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in Wednesbury on Sunday morning.
Police were called to the A461 at the junction of Wood Green Road and Woden Road East at around 8.20am.
They found a man had been hit by a vehicle - he was taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries.
Officers spoke to the driver of the car who helped assist them with their enquiries.
The road, a main throughfare to the M6 Junction 9, was closed for most of the morning with diversions on National Express buses.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them on 101 quoting log 1092 of 22 June.
