Watch: 24 amazing photos of the Pretty Muddy 5K at Sandwell Valley

It was a morning to climb, crawl and slide around a unique obstacle course for hundreds of charity fundraisers at Sandwell Valley Country Park.

The Sandwell Pretty Muddy 5k saw charity runners young and old take on the mighty course around Sandwell Valley on Saturday, following a course which involved several obstacles, including a drop into a muddy pit near the end.

The annual event was organised by Cancer Research as part of the Pretty Muddy series and aimed to raise as much as possible to help fund life-saving cancer research, with many people wearing pink outfits as part of the theme of the day.
