The coolest job in the West Midlands this summer - Iceland is the place to beat the heat as temperatures soar
Staff at a Wolverhampton Iceland supermarket think they have the coolest job in the West Midlands this summer.
On Wednesday we spoke to Black Country metal artist Luke Perry about working in his forge workshop during the heatwave.
Luke said that he potentially has the hottest job in the West Midlands as the heat is unbearable on a regular day, let alone during a heatwave.

Well this summer, staff members at Wolverhampton's Wulfrun Centre Iceland have said they have the 'coolest' job in the West Midlands as they prepare to spend plenty of time by the freezers and air conditioning in between happily serving customers.
Bev Wootton, a service member at Iceland, said that she thinks the best way to cool off in the heatwave is with an ice cream.

She said: "We have a great range of ice creams here in Iceland! Why don't you come in and cool down and try one?"
