A Black Country chicken restaurant and a pub have been hit with 'one' hygiene ratings in the latest inspections
Two Black Country food businesses have been handed one-out-of-five food hygiene ratings following inspections.
Ratings are given out to restaurants, cafés, pubs and takeaways based on their standards of 'hygienic food handling', 'cleanliness and condition of facilities and building' and 'management of food safety'.
A score of five is considered 'very good', four 'good', three 'generally satisfactory', two 'some improvement necessary', one 'major improvement necessary' and zero 'urgent improvement required'.
In Wolverhampton, Rio's Piri Piri chicken restaurant in Queen Square was handed a one-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 14.

Similarly King George V, a bar in Darlaston, Walsall, was also given a one-out-of-five food hygiene rating following an inspection on the same day.
