'I've never seen anything like it' - Devastation as Walsall fire destroys a garden shed and four people free themselves from house
Neighbours have shared their shock following a fire that destroyed a shed and back garden in Walsall.
Emergency services were called to Revival Street, Bloxwich, at around 10.30pm on Wednesday (June 18) to reports of a 'large blaze' in the garden of one of the properties.
Four people had freed themselves from the property before firefighters got to the scene. On arrival, the West Midlands Fire Service found that the fire had raged through a shed at the address and spread to a neighbouring garden. They warned people to avoid the area. Crews left the scene at 1.10am the following morning.
Neighbours of the house said the flames and smoke from the fire could be seen 'above the houses', with many saying they had 'never seen anything like it'.

David Taylor, 54, who lives near the address, said: "It was horrible. I've never really seen anything like that before.
"The smoke and flames were above all the houses. You could feel the heat on your face when you were standing by your doors. It was insane."
It is unknown as of yet if anyone was injured in the blaze, however, residents have given their wishes to the families affected.

Andrew Simms, 36, of the area, said: "I really hope everyone is alright. It looked really bad, we could see the glow from our garden.
"We didn't see or hear any ambulances, so hopefully everyone is alright. But it did look really bad. It's a shame."
Four fire engines attended the scene to tackle the blaze, with residents being told to 'close their windows and doors' at the time.

Another resident, who didn't want to be named, said: "Our window was open at the time and you could feel the heat coming through. I told the kids to close them in the end.
"I went down after to see how bad it was. It looks like everything in the shed was destroyed, it's devastating really."
Emergency services have been approached for more information on the fire.
