Wednesbury man arrested at Birmingham Airport appears before magistrates charged with firearms allegations
A man from Wednesbury who was arrested at Birmingham Airport over firearms allegations has appeared in court.
On Thursday (June 12), Mitchell Rosamond, aged 33, of Booth Road in Friar Park appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court to face offences of possession of a firearm and ammunition, having an imitation gun with intent to cause fear of violence and affray.

The case relates to arrests at the airport on Wednesday (June 11) and the alleged discovery a handgun and ammunition at a property in Booth Road.
No plea was given at the hearing and the matter was committed to Wolverhampton Crown Court on July 10 when it will next be heard. Rosamond was granted bail.
