Man taken to hospital in 'potentially serious condition' after ambulance crews called to West Bromwich street

A man was taken to hospital in what was described as a potentially serious condition after ambulance crews attended a medical emergency call in West Bromwich.

The man was found by ambulance crews at the junction of Hazelbeech Road and Oak Lane in West Bromwich, following a call to West Midlands Ambulance Service at 10.43am.

The man was treated by crews at the scene before being taken to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a medical emergency at the junction of Hazelbeech Road and Oak Lane in West Bromwich at 10.43am and sent an ambulance to the scene.

"On arrival, crews found a man, who was in a potentially serious condition. 

"He was treated by crews before being conveyed to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital.”
