Walsall robber who held victim up at knife-point and then sped off in stolen car dangerously jailed
A Walsall robber who stole a car at knife-point then sped off dangerously has been jailed for two years six months.
Bradley Smith, 21, held up the driver of a Toyota Hiace at Brockhurst Crescent, near Bescot Stadium, on October 4, last year.
Once behind the wheel Smith drove dangerously putting other motorists at risk on Brockhurst Crescent.
His victim was left traumatised by the robbery and has subsequently suffered from anxiety and has been in fear of his safety ever since.
Police located Smith, of Bloxwich Lane, Walsall, at Tudor Court, Tipton later that day and arrested him. He was found in possession of a machete at the time of his arrest.
