Fancy visiting Featherstone Prison? New entry rules now include proof of ID as well no hats, sunglasses or wearing more than one pair of trousers

The Ministry of Justice have introduced stricter rules for visitors entering his Majesty's Prison Featherstone.

Visitors will now have to show ID before being allowed into the prison to visit inmates. 

As well as not wearing a hat, two pairs of trousers, revealing outfits, hoodies and sunglasses, as well as sticking to a multitude of other strict rules to get into the prison.

The Ministry of Justice imposed the new ID rule this week and updated its information page for visitors to HMP Featherstone.

The MoJ stated: "All visitors must prove their identity before entering the prison."

Acceptable forms of ID include passport, driving licence, EU identity cards, US passport, armed forces identity card, or a combination of birth certificate, freedom passes, marriage certificates, rental agreements and other documents. The full list can be found on the MoJ website.
