There are thousands of restaurants and pubs across the West Midlands, all working hard everyday to put food on hungry punters' tables.

Through providing excellent service, great food and an all-round experience, they build up good reputations, with many people taking to TripAdvisor to write reviews and offer praise for their favourite places.

Using the review site, we can provide a list of the three best-rated restaurants and pubs each across our region and tell you what people think about what makes them so highly rated.

For Highest Rated, Tripadvisor ranks the top rated restaurants based on user input on Tripadvisor. Results are then ranked on the basis of the 'Popularity Index', which is based on the quality, recency and quantity of reviews an establishment receives from users.
