Man arrested following knifepoint robbery in Sandwell where bike was stolen
Police have arrested a man in Sandwell following a knifepoint robbery.
Officers from West Midlands Police were called to Leabrook Road in Wednesbury at around 9.30pm last night (Wednesday) where a man had his bike stolen at knifepoint.
Police are said to have arrived in the area within minutes and, following enquiries, arrested a suspect in the Great Bridge area less than an hour later.
A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and he remains in custody for questioning.
