Case alleging corruption against county police officer sent to crown court
The case against a West Mercia Police sergeant has been committed to crown court.
Conrad Smith, of Mid Wales, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court earlier today - Tuesday, February 4.
The West Mercia Police Sergeant, who was based in North Shropshire, faces one charge of corrupt or improper exercise of police powers and privileges by a constable.
