Tyrone Moran, 19, appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court today (December 12) charged over the death of Salma Rafique who was hit by Moran's car on Thorns Road on September 29, last year.

Moran, of Holcroft Road, Oldswinford, pleaded guilty to causing the death of Salma Rafique by driving a Vauxhall Corsa dangerously.

Miss Rafique, 27, was struck by the car at around 8pm, sustaining catastrophic injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Moran drove away from the scene. He was arrested shortly afterwards.
