Cameron Martin has been charged after officers from West Midlands Police received reports of a burglary and two attempted burglaries in Oldbury and Rowley Regis on Wednesday morning (December 11).

The 21-year-old from West Bromwich was arrested on suspicion of committing the offences.

Following further enquiries, police identified Martin as the prime suspect for four robberies in which cars were taken across Tipton, Walsall and Willenhall in July.

Martin was charged with all of the offences, along with another attempted robbery in Tipton from the summer.

He appeared before Walsall Magistrates Court on Thursday and was remanded in custody until January 9, when he will appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
