20mph limit plan for Black Country town centre to tackle speeding drivers and improve road safety
Moves are afoot to introduce a 20mph speed limit in Blackheath to tackle problems with bad drivers.
Sandwell Council wants to prevent vehicles travelling at higher speeds along numerous town centre roads.
The proposal states: "The council proposes to make Blackheath Town Centre (20mph Zone) Order 2024 to prohibit any vehicle exceeding a speed of 20mph on the lengths of roads as listed.
