He will be paid £10,000 every month for the next year after buying his golden ticket online.

The lucky man, who is planning to have a new kitchen extension, won the life-changing prize by matching five main numbers in the May 2 draw.

Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at The National Lottery, said; "Huge congratulations to Mr. R for winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket.

"After a few simple clicks he can now look forward to receiving £10,000 every month for a year - one thing is for sure, it’ll be a year that he’ll never forget."

Set For Life is a new draw-based game, with the top prize giving players £10,000 a month for the next 30 years.
