Wolves players Raul Jimenez and Jonny Otto popped along to Wolverhampton's The Way Youth Zone to join wannabe sporting stars.

The special visit came as part of a city-wide project which sees youngsters enjoy games of football for free.

Jimenez said: "It was great, it shows we are doing good and working hard because they want to be like us."

The players' moves were put to the test when they joined The Way's mini tournament with their young fans during the visit.

Youngsters got the chance to quiz their idols during a rare question and answer session, before snapping pictures with the footballers and grabbing autographs.

The Wolves Foundation currently runs the Premier League Kicks Project at the School Street hub.

It means young people, aged between eight and 18, are able to join free football sessions daily across Wolverhampton.

Football projects officer for the Wolves Foundation Luke Shearing said: "Raul loved the young fans reactions as they arrived at The Way. Both players said they found the session to be an incredible experience.

"The young people at the session were delighted to meet the players and ask them questions about their careers, as well as getting the all-important selfies and autographs.

"It was a great experience for the Premier League Kicks participants to meet international footballers and to see where hard work can take you.

"Thanks to Raul and Jonny for giving our participants an unforgettable Premier League Kicks experience."
