She described the club's path to promotion as a 'rocky one' but said the achievement is a 'magnificent victory'.

Suzi, aged 47 from Codsall, is one of a number of celebrity fans which also includes fellow presenter Jacqui Oatley, singer Beverley Knight and Star Wars actor Mark Hamil.

She currently presents sports on television for motorcycle speedway and MotoGP on BT Sport.

Asked for her thoughts on Wolves Championship title-clinching season, she said: "I love it when a plan comes together! Such hard work from all involved creating this magnificent victory.

"It’s well deserved and also for the fans. The path has been a rocky one but this promotion will radiate throughout the town.

"Molineux is the beating heart of the town and right now it’s singing, I hope success will become a regular pastime for the Wolves, I’m right behind them, as always.”

One of the stand out moments of the season for Suzi has been Ruben Neves' wonder-goal against Derby.

Asked what her favourite player was, she said it was a hard call as all the team have played so well this year.

Suzi said: "That’s a tough one to answer because they are such a phenomenal team and they work so well together but I was at the Derby game when Ruben Neves scored that goal and I couldn’t believe it!

"So if you’re making me pick, it’s Neves."

Suzi was also praising of manager Nuno Espirito Santo, his approach to playing football this season and how he has captivated the imagination of the supporters.

Asked on her thoughts of Nuno and the job he is doing, Suzi said: "Top marks to him. I think he is fabulous.

"I met him and he was a real gentleman.

"He has done a superb job with the team and I appreciate his philosophy, he has a plan and it’s working!

"There seems to be a fans obsession with Nuno’s dream, a dream we are all happy to share."

What are your hopes for Wolves in the Premier League?

"I hope that we can win some scalps next season and shut a few people up. It would be stunning to finish mid table and soon let’s get to the Champions League!

"I love Wolves, I always have and I always will. #shewolf!"
