By Richard Guttridge | Wolverhampton | News | Published:

Drivers in Wolverhampton are facing more disruption, with gas works to take place on a busy road.

Temporary traffic lights will be up on Cannock Road, Fallings Park, and could cause major delays on one of the main routes into the city.

Work is due to start next Monday and last a week.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place 24 hours a day between Croft Lane and Old Fallings Lane.

Workers will be connecting sewers and gas lines.

It means yet more disruption in the city and comes at the same time a road closure is in place on Wolverhampton Road, Wednesfield.

Drivers have also experienced delays on Merridale Road due to more gas works there.
