A cannabis factory worth £700,000 was uncovered by police leading to the arrests of two men.

Police raided a factory in Dudley Port after executing a warrant today.

Pictures from the scene showed dozens of cannabis plants lined up in rows inside the factory.

Specialist lighting equipment was used as part of the growing operation.

Cannabis buds were also pictured hanging from the ceiling.

Police said two men from arrested from inside the premises of the factory unit.

Tipton Police tweeted: "Team executed a warrant at a factory on Dudley Port today , around £700k of cannabis recovered. 2 males arrested from within the property."

West Midlands Police has a dedicated team to tackling cannabis.

The West Midlands Police Cannabis Disposal Team was set up to reduce the impact of drugs in communities.
