Julia Regis and Cyrille's son Robert and daughter Michelle visited the ground yesterday to write the first tributes to Albion’s famous No.9.

The book is now placed in the East Stand reception for supporters to add their own personal tributes to Regis, who died last week aged 59.

It will eventually be presented to Julia along with the avalanche of emails and letters which have poured in to the club in memory of Regis.

Julia said: “The messages of support we have received from Cyrille’s fans has been a huge comfort to the family and we will look forward to reading their messages.

“Cyrille was always so appreciative of all the support he received throughout his career and we have all taken strength from the outpouring of love for him.”

Those who can't get to The Hawthorns can send in video and written tributes to fans@wbafc.co.uk

A selection will be shown on the big screens at the ground before the home game with Southampton on Saturday, February, 3

The club have requested that videos are landscape and do not exceed three minutes in length.
