He has been living in the US state for more than 20 years, now coaching football to children from across the world.

He previously coached at Walsall FC and the Baggies and went to school in the West Midlands.

Before... and after the storm arrived

In the video, posted on his Facebook page from Walton, Mr Gibbons hums along to Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes before shouting: "I love this, honestly I love this just like Kevin Keegan wanted Newcastle to beat Manchester United.

"It is just the power. Just amazing, I love the power of nature."

Posting the video on Facebook on Sunday night, he said: "If I'm gonna die...I'm wearing my Albion shirt."

The hurricane has now passed Florida, but in its wake it has left severe damage across the Sunshine State. Millions were forced to evacuate their homes as the hurricane swept through Florida.
