Five men flee car after crash in Dudley street

Five men are believed to have fled from a car after it smashed into a parked vehicle in Dudley.

It happened on a residential section of St James' Road, which leads into the town centre, shortly before 8pm on Thursday.

Police and two fire crews were called to the scene. Officers closed off the road while firefighters made the vehicle safe and cleared the debris.

No one was in the stationary car, said police.

Dudley Fire Station later tweeted: "Attended RTC tonight five young men absconded scene after collision with parked car. Reckless driving can kill."

Police are investigating.
