Reading are Wolves opponents for the first home league game the season, which kicks-off at 3pm.

The eye-catching design is the first in a 23-part series which has been commissioned by the club to feature on the programme covers for each of Wolves' 2016/17 home fixtures.

A club statement, said: "With the new campaign, we have a break from the norm with our matchday programme covers.

"The club has commissioned the, highly-talented, UK-based Illustrator, Alexander Wells, to design a 23-part series – one for every home league game.

"This is the first illustration and each programme thereafter will have a similar theme as Wolves progress."
