Man's body pulled from Smethwick canal
A man's body has been pulled from a canal in Smethwick.

Police were called to the Birmingham Canal this morning at around 7.30am, where a man had been pulled from the water by a passer-by.
The man was taken to Birmingham City Hospital where he was sadly pronounced deceased.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and the man's family has been informed.
Formal identification will take place in due course.
