Car smashes through wall in Old Hill

A car has smashed through the wall of a banquet suite, narrowly missing a bus stop.

The crash happened at 5.30pm today (SAT), when the blue Vauxhall Astra careered through the boundary wall outside The Regis hall in Old Hill, just two feet away from a bus stop.

The car then came to rest on the lawn of the club.

A woman suffered minor injuries in the smash on Reddal Hill Road, and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

Two fire engines, one from Cradley Heath station and the other from Brierly Hill, were called to the incident and made the car safe. No-one was trapped in the vehicle.
