Fire crews from Stafford Fire Station were called to the Greyhound Inn in Stone Road, Yarlet at 12.31pm today, to numerous reports of a car on fire outside the pub.

Firefighters arrived to find a car well ablaze on the southbound carriageway, but they were quickly able to put the fire out.

Initial investigations suggest that the fire was caused by an accidental ignition in the car.

Luckily all the car's occupants all managed to get out safely and there were no injuries.
