Axe for 35 Oldbury glass jobs

Sandwell | News | Published:

All 35 workers at an Oldbury glass processing business have been made redundant after it ceased trading.

Administrators were appointed at NJ Bradford in Ashes Road on February 6.

The company, which has been processing glass since 1937, had been struggling with a falling order book and tightening margins.

Nicholas Lee and Dilip Dattani of RSM Tenon were appointed joint administrators but established that jobs could not be saved.
