Power cut hits 5,000 homes in Coseley and Bilston
More than 5,000 residents were left without electricity today after a power cut.
A total of 5,243 people lost power at homes around Coseley and Bilston at 10.12am today, Western Power Distribution said, but 1,829 of those had their supply restored inside 10 minutes.
Engineers were however dispatched to investigate power lines to find out the source of the problem this morning, in a bid to restore supplies for others.
