The Express & Star will host a live webchat during and after the autumn statement.

Our experts will give their comments and views as the announcements are made.

And they will be available at the conclusion of the statement to answer your questions

The autumn statement will be a mini Budget - with implications for families and business everywhere.

E&S Business Editor Simon Penfold will host the webchat, which aims to cut across the jargon and tell you straight just what the revelations will mean to you.

Tomorrow's mini-Budget is expected to deliver bleak news for welfare claimants as well as the wealthy in the form of a possible benefit freeze and big cuts to pension tax relief.

There may also be changes to personal taxation that will have a direct impact on the money you have in your pocket.

And there will be revelations about the state of the British economy - and just how difficult it will be for us all as the Government attempts to tackle the nation's deficit.

The panel of experts assembled by Simon Penfold will include Johnathan Dudley, head of professional practices at accountants Crowe Clark Whitehill at Oldbury.

Simon said: "We aim to cut across the statement and tell you straight just what it will mean for you.

"The Chancellor is effectively making a second Budget statement.

"What he says is very important as it will affect us all personally and will also help determine just how well the country is doing in fighting the economic crisis.

"We have already been warned that there won't be much good news around.

"Our team will at least be able to make it very clear what is being said - and we aim to do it in an informative and entertaining way."
