£6m to be shared by Black Country colleges

Three Black Country colleges have scooped more than £6million in Government cash towards redevelopment projects, it was announced today.

Dudley College, Stourbridge College and Halesowen College will receive cash towards work to provide new teaching and student facilities.

It includes £2.2m towards Dudley College's new engineering teaching centre, which will be built in Priory Road.

Stourbridge College has received £2.3m towards a new health and social care building, which will be built at the Hagley Road site.

Bosses at Halesowen College have received £1.9m towards a £5.9m scheme to replace outdated teaching blocks.

An animal care and tourism block has already been built at the campus.
