Rent a villa for a party holiday

The idea of renting a villa used to be the preserve of the wealthy but today it is an easily affordable option for many.

If you plan on taking a holiday with a group of friends, sharing the cost by opting for a villa rental is a great idea and can mean that you have access to a quality of accommodation that you might not have otherwise.

Today's villas are a long shot away from the old farmhouses and rural style dwellings that used to make up most of the market – although these types of rentals are still available for those interested in them.

There are a wealth of up-to-the-minute villas fro reputable companies such as Villas4You which come complete with all the contemporary styling and features you would expect; from large TVs and Wi-Fi connectivity through to games rooms, saunas and infinity pools.

If you are looking for a lively party-based holiday, then you'll also be interested in what is on offer outside of your villas walls. Picking the perfect destination is essential – so here are a few great party destinations where you can dance the night away.

Ibiza and the Balearics

The Balearic island of Ibiza has to be top of the list, famous for being at the hub of world dance music and nightclub culture. In fact the White Isle's hedonistic party reputation goes right back to the 60s when it was already a destination for counter culture travellers looking for a laid back atmosphere combined with glorious landscapes and a favourable climate.

Although Ibiza is often thought of as the main Balearic party island, its larger sister Majorca can hold its own when it comes to clubbing. The island has long been a favourite with young Spanish holidaymakers and the town of Magaluf on the west coast is well known for its clubs and bars. In fact the biggest nightclub in Europe, BCM Planet Dance, is situated in the town and is just one of the many reasons partygoers choose to rent Spain villas in Majorca.

The Canaries

A favourite destination for a group holiday at any time of the year, the Canary Islands offer the familiarity of a Spanish holiday with the unique subtropical climate that their location in the Atlantic Ocean brings. With a virtual guarantee of good weather, Tenerife is a popular choice for those looking to enjoy a varied nightlife.

The resorts of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos both have major clubbing attractions, whilst Puerto de la Cruz and Arona offer a slightly more laid back, but no less popular, nightlife.

Cyprus

Villas in Cyprus are in high demand and it is not surprising when you consider the fantastic choice and quality of beaches that the island boasts. It also rightly stakes a claim as one of the top party destinations in the Mediterranean for the past decade or more, with most of the action focused around Ayia Napa.

The town itself is something of a classic Cyprus fishing village in the day but at night Napa Square comes alive with a huge selection of modern bars and clubs.
