Emmerdale and Holby City actor William Ilkley, who plays Judd in the production of Bouncers at Wolverhampton's Grand Theatre, held a drama workshop at The King's C of E School in Tettenhall.

Around 30 students from years 10, 12 and 13 are studying the play and Ilkley helped them develop their skills. Head of drama at the Regis Road school, Christopher Rowley, said: "It has been a fantastic learning experience, the students absolutely loved it. It was wonderful for them to see a professional actor play the role."

The workshop, held yesterday, was followed by a trip to the Grand to see the show, which also stars Eastenders' Ace Bhatti, Don Gilet and Ian Reddington. Bouncers ends its run at the theatre tonight.
