Nine hundred jobs will be created when online retailer Amazon opens a new centre in Staffordshire, it was revealed today.

Amazon will start processing orders from across the UK and throughout the world from September.

Today's announcement comes after The Express & Star revealed last week that Amazon was moving into a new base in Rugeley.

Today it was confirmed the American company is to sign a 15-year lease for the 700,000sq ft Flair building on the G Park business park in Lea Hall Way, which has been empty since it was built more than two years ago.

The business park was built on the site of a former colliery and opened in 2008.
