The popular duo led a workshop at JJ Dance, in Netherton, after teacher Jade Johnson invited them to visit.

The dance school recently expanded operations after she launched the enterprise, in Rowley Regis, four years ago.

It caters for male and female dancers, aged four upwards, for classes in flex, street and contemporary styles at both sites.

Miss Johnson, 23, says: "I contacted James & Oliver to see if they would be interested in doing a workshop in half term. They where really excited to come and teach our local dancers as I had opened the workshop up to all dancers, not just my own at JJ Dance.

"This is the first of many workshops I am planning to do in the community. All dancers that attended the workshop really enjoyed it. James & Oliver said it was nice to see dancers from different backgrounds come together in the same place."

James & Oliver were among the favourites to win the BBC talent show in 2019 after wowing the studio audience to earning a place in the grand final. Good friends James, 18, and Oliver, 12, met at a dance school. They were mentored by Glee star Matthew Morrison, who is a judge on the show.

JJ Dance runs sessions on Saturdays at St Michael's CE High School, Rowley Learning Campus, Curral Road, Rowley Regis, or Cole Street Methodist Church, in Cole Street, Netherton.
