Things that go bump in the night revealed on Express & Star ghost tour
Believers and sceptics joined together to explore some of the most haunted parts of the home of the Express & Star.
The Express and Star headquarters, in Queen Street, Wolverhampton, was the setting for a ghost hunt, giving staff members a chance to explore the 85-year old building.
The tour was organised by paranormal group Energies and Entities, with Stuart Weaver from the Express & Star's planning department leading the tour along Medium Chris Stone.
Stuart, who describes himself as an investigator and sceptic, has led several ghost tours around the building.
He said: "I'm a Medium in my spare time and I've helped run tours throughout this building.
"To me, it's all about wanting to know if there is anything there or if someone is there and it helps to have a curiosity about things like this."
The tour took eight members of staff to parts of the building considered haunted through past instances.
This included along a staircase around a cage where a girl was believed to have died, the basement area and archives and the reception area at the front of the building.
It also saw Chris, at one point, pick up the spirit of a former print worker called Kevin.
Stuart Weaver said: "Chris managed to hear from Kevin, although it soon became clear that he wasn't pleased to see us there.
"I won't repeat what he said, but he was not using very pleasant language in telling us to get out."
The next ghost tour is being planned for around March and will again be run by Entities and Energies.
Stuart also confirmed the group would be holding weekly paranormal evenings at the Courthouse in Dudley on the last Thursday of each month.
