In the only all-American opening round match, the Fight Club: PRO Tag Team Champions Davey Vega and Mat Fitchett defeated Dave & Jake Crist in a fun brawl to open Night Two that saw incredible dives from both men.

Indeed one of the Crist brothers dived from the roof of The Hangar onto his opponents below.

The finish was also spectacular, with the champions hitting an innovative double-team that combined a piledriver with a powerbomb.

In the other semi-final, IMPACT Wrestling’s Latin American Exchange defeated British veteran Jody Fleisch and Johnny Storm in a similarly wild match.

Elsewhere on the card, the two men who stole the show on Night One both had another strong night.

Birmingham’s Dan Maloney impressed enroute to finally ending Chuck Mambo’s five-match winning streak in multi-person Scramble matches.

However the most spectacular moment came when El Phantasmo delivered a Death Valley Driver from off the top rope to the mass of people on the outside.

Another highlight was the prolonged tease and false-starts, that all built to the largest man in the match, Jeff Cobb, successfully diving over the top rope.

Meanwhile Will Ospreay won a fantastic match against Mexico’s Fenix.

Whilst this did not hit the emotional highs of his match against Maloney the previous night, it featured some absolutely spellbinding exchanges between two men whose agility and balance lends itself to exchanges that are like a fight scene from The Matrix.

This was pro-wrestling at its athletic best.

Fenix’s tag-team and brother, Pentagon, would close the night against Fight Club: PRO World Champion Mark Davis.

Both men are the powerhouses of their tag teams, and this would be a slugfest, with both men exchanging big moves and hard strikes.

Davis would ultimately retain his title, which continues the Lucha Bros poor form against Chris Brookes and his associates.

They’ll be hoping for the opportunity to avenge these losses in Manchester.

Likewise, it will be interesting to see who Davis will defend his title against in the final night of this long weekend of shows.

The other major match of the night was Kyle Fletcher facing former WWE Cruiserweight Champion and current champion in Japan’s Dragon Gate promotion, PAC.

Whilst it wasn’t always clear who the fans were rooting for, the action was often incredible, with both men taking several huge risks to gain the advantage.

Indeed disaster almost struck when PAC struck the steel barricade with both his legs after executing an incredible moonsault from the ring to the outside. PAC would ultimately win the match, before showing rare respect for his younger opponent afterwards.
