The event follows the gaming company's inaugural event at the venue last month that saw people of all ages play a variety of games from across the decades.

At the gaming day, set to take place on April 28, there will be nine different consoles to play on including the Super Nintendo, Sega Mega Drive and PlayStation One.

There will also be a VHS corner with classic TV shows playing throughout the day, a Mario Kart competition to win up to £30 in Vintage Gamer vouchers, and a free raffle entry for every attendee to win a PlayStation One bundle.

Speaking ahead of the event, Did Somebody Say Retro? owner Shaun Campbell said: "As an avid retro gamer, I know how special the gaming experience is when playing a classic console that we used to play on when we were kids.

"At the launch event it was fantastic to see people of all ages, playing computer games against each other and just having fun.

"It’s an absolute pleasure to be able to re-ignite those flames of gaming nostalgia, and I look forward to seeing you all attend the first official event."
