Movie night begins at Walsall church

By James Vukmirovic | Walsall | Walsall entertainment | Published:

A Walsall church is set to begin a series of film screenings with a showing of an award-winning drama.

Pride

St John's Church in Walsall Wood will be showing the film Pride, a moving, but also humorous retelling of a true story from the miner's strike in the 1980s.

The screening is part of the church's mission to promote an affirming and reconciling community for the LGBTQ+ community.

All members of the public are invited to Outside In on Tuesday, February 25 for the screening, then a discussion about the film and related matters afterwards.

The screening starts at 7pm at St John's Church, High Street, Walsall Wood.
