Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat opened at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre last night – delighting a packed audience.

Produced by Bill Kenwright, the Tim Rice an Andrew Lloyd Webber sparkling family musical will be showing at the city centre theatre until Saturday.

Retelling the biblical story of Joseph, his 11 brothers and the famous coat of many colours, the popular musical is full of unforgettable songs including Go, Go, Go Joseph, Any Dream Will Do, Jacob and Sons, Close Every Door To Me and many more.

Britain's Got Talent finalist Mark McMullan stars as Joseph – a select few of the cast will also be offering a post-show Q&A tomorrow night after the show.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was the first of Lloyd Webber and Rice’s musicals to be performed publicly.

Seen by an estimated 26 million people, and counting, Joseph continues to enthral audiences around the world.
