Around 30 students who are studying for level three UAL diplomas and extended diplomas in performing arts will entertain audiences in their end of term show later this month.

The 'Legends' variety show features song, dance and acting from stage and screen including playwright William Shakespeare, music stars Queen and Tom Jones, and the popular film Dirty Dancing.

The students researched different performers, pitched their ideas to tutors and auditioned for parts – with the best performances selected to be included in the show.

Tanya Long, college lecturer, said: "The students have worked extremely hard preparing for the show and, once again, the audience will be in for an entertaining evening as they showcase their singing, dancing and acting talents.”

The 'Legends' variety show will be performed at Wolverhampton College's Paget Road campus on Wednesday, December 18, and Thursday, December 19, from 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £4 or £3 for concessions. They are available on the door or by calling the college on 01902 836000.
